Privacy policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Keystep Leadership (“Keystep,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions? Email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Your email address (and first name, if you give it) when you sign up for the email list.
  • Messages you send us, such as emails to [email protected].
  • Basic technical data that any web host processes to deliver a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and only shows us aggregate visit counts. It doesn’t track you across sites or build a profile of you.

This site doesn’t use advertising cookies or sell your information.

Why we use it

  • To send you what you asked for (the emails you signed up for).
  • To understand, in general terms, which articles are useful, so we can improve them.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who helps us run the site

We use a few service providers. They process your information on our behalf, under their own privacy policies:

Emails

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails right away.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. After that, it’s removed in line with Kit’s data practices.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example, in the EU, UK or certain U.S. states), you may have additional rights under local law.

Children

This site is meant for working adults and isn’t directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced to the email list.
